Logo section

EWP offers several possibilities to include a logo in your website project: You can use one of the integrated logo templates, download additional templates from the EWP template page or select an individual image.

The logo preview in the right area of the logo section displays the generated logo. You can change the background color of the preview using the color selector Background Color.

Choosing a logo template

Select the tab Template. In the left area of the logo section a preview of the selected logo and its name are displayed.

Logo template

Click the preview image or the Button Choose to launch the Logo Theme Browser.

Logo Template Browser

To choose a certain logo select it and click the button OK. If you don't want to use a logo click the button None. If you want to download additional logo templates from the Internet, click the button Download to open the EWP templates web page in your standard web browser. Imported templates can be eliminated by clicking the button Remove.

An advantage of logo templates is, that certain constituent parts can be generated dynamically. Dynamic user inputs like text, colors (using the Color Dialog) or fonts can be entered at the central area of the logo section.

Dynamic inputs

Below the dynamic input area, you can select one of several predefined sizes or enter an individual logo size.

Size settings

Choose a logo image

Click the tab Image. Press the button Choose image to select the image file you want to use as your website logo. Once you have chosen an image a dialog to adjust the image dimensions will open:

Image Resize Dialog

Select one of the predefined sizes or enter an individual image size. If you want to avoid that differing proportions will deform the image, activate the checkbox Constrain Proportions. Click the button OK to save the changes.

You can change the image size at any time clicking the button Image settings.

Activate the checkbox Border, to draw a border around the logo.

No Logo

Of course you can also decide not to use any logo. Simply select the tab None.
