Introducing the Xtras

The last chapter is dedicated to the Xtras in Easy Website Pro.

1. The extras can be accessed through the Xtras menu in Easy Website Pro

The Xtras menu consists of different Xtras which can be activated by checking the checkbox left to the Xtras name (as shown in the picture below for the option colored scrollbars)

2. Apply individual settings to the Xtras

Each Xtras provides you with the possibility to specify certain settings. To do so click on the button .

Overview on the available Xtras

• Colored Scrollbars: This Xtra allows you to style the scrollbars in your webbrowser with whichever color combination you desire. Please Note: This feature only works in Internet Explorer and Konqueror browsers and it is not recommended for usage by the W3C.
• Meta Tags: This Xtra allows you to gain higher search engine rankings by indexing your website with a description and appropriate keywords.
• Quick Navigation: This Xtra is intended to enable your site's visitors to quickly go to any subsection of your website. If you click on 'settings' you can apply a name to the quicknavigation and set up the hyperlinks.
• CSS Link Decoration: This Xtra provides you with the possibility of styling your hyperlinks beyond another color. if you click on 'settings' you may choose link colors as well as link decoration and the font size and font type desired.
• Custom Script: If you plan on using for instance any javascript libaries - place them under custom scripts and they will be integrated automatically into the HTML Code of your website.
• CSS (Cascading Style Sheets): This Xtra allows you to import a whole CSS file, which provides the styling of your page. You may also edit the CSS file directly if you click 'settings'.
  Please Note: If you downloaded active templates form Easy Website Pro's Server you may have noticed that these template use all the same CSS file (ewp.css).
• Mail Form: This Xtras is interconnected with the mail forms provided in the Visual Style Editor. In order to function the mail forms need certain settings which can be applied under 'settings'.
