The first mode we are going to cover is the Visual Editor Mode
To get acquainted with this mode let's take a look at the workingspace

... cut out a selection (text, picture etc.) - Shortcut STRG + X
... copy a selection (text, picture etc.) - Shortcut STRG + C
... paste a selection out of the clipboard (text, picture etc.) - Shortcut STRG + V
... click this symbol and the 'find and replace' wizard opens upPlease Note: the cut, copy and insert functionalities can also be found under the 'Edit' menu. Under the 'Extras' menu you are able to change the background color of the Visual Style editor (for instance this functionality can be useful when dealing with white text)
... one step backward / one step forward
... use this symbol to insert a picture into your content, after clicking an open file dialogue opens up.
... use this symbol to insert a table in our content. After clicking on the symbol the 'table properties' wizard opens up, which allows you to specify the number of table rows and the number of table columns. Other properties to be specified are
... use this symbol to insert a horizontal line in your content, the line will automatically adjust to the width of the content.
... use this symbol to insert a Flash file (.swf) into your content, after clicking on the symbol an open file dialogue will open up.
... use this symbol to insert a movie or an audio file to your content, after clicking an open file dialogue will open up.
... use this symbol to insert a hyperlink. In order to be able to use this symbol you need to have some text selected. This selected text will than act as a hyperlink. After clicking the symbol the 'hyperlink settings' wizard opens up. This wizard allows you to specify the type of link
... use this symbol to insert a so-called file link to your content. A file link provides a link to a document, which the visitor can than download by simply clicking n the file link. In theory a file link is just a hyperlink which does not point to another webpage, but to a file.
... use this symbol to insert PayPal functionality to your webpage, after clicking on the symbol the 'paypal' wizard opens up. This wizard will guide you through the setup.
... use this symbol to edit the standard font type (Verdana, 11px) in Easy Website Pro. If you click on the symbol the 'fonts attribute' wizard opens up. This wizard allows you to choose your favorite font type and also specify the font size and the font decoration (bold, underline, italic, strikeout etc.)
... use this symbol to change the color of a prior selected text.
... use this symbol to remove all formatting of a prior selected text.
... use this symbol to either decrease or increase a prior selected text.
... use this symbol to change the aligment of a prior selected text, you may choose between left, right and center alignment.
... use this symbol to indent or outdent a prior selected text.
... use this symbol to either add an ordered or an unordered list to your content. By pressing enter on your keyboard you get to the next list element.
Please Note: To exit the list mode - press enter twice on your keyboard.
