The Workspace

You just opened the help files which ship with Easy Website Pro, the help file itself is organized into several parts, this provides you with the possibility of finding quick answers to your questions.

Probably the best way to get used to Easy Website Pro is looking around its workspace.

In the titlebar you are able to find the actual version number of Easy Website Pro you are using

Underneath the titlebar you are able to find the main menu which consists of three sections: File, Edit and Help.

The File Section

The File Section deals with the creation of new Easy Website Pro projects as well as the saving of projects. In this section you are also able to create new template files, which you can either distribute to your friends or resell - depending on your Easy Website Pro licence type. Another important functionality can be found in the file section - the Preview Website option, which allows you to choose either to preview your website in the Easy Website Pro Browser - shortcut F12 or your systems' default browser - shortcut F11. Another big point in this section is the import and export aswell as the creation, loading and downloading of templates. The topic Templates is covered exstensibly in the following chapters.

The Edit Section

The Edit Section comprises of the language settings and the properties for the connection to your webspace. The topic uploading your website to the internet aswell as the connection settings are covered in much greater detail in the following chapters.

The Help Section

The Help Section provides you with a link list to all the online resources available for Easy Website Pro Version 4. This list includes the help files, access to the online tutorials, access to the tip of the day and also to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). This section also provides the possibility to search for updates.

The shortcutsbar underneath the main menu provides you with quick shortcuts to speed up things in Easy Website Pro.

For instance you can create a new project, open an existing project, save a project, change your FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Settings and publish your website in just one click.

The main interactions of the program are provided within the 10 colorful orbs underneath the shortcutsbar.
